We are pleased to present Mattias Elgbratt as our new Sales Manager at Åkerstedts. We asked our new colleague a couple of quick questions.

Previous experience:
I started my professional life in production at Saab’s gearbox factory in Gothenburg, after that I have had several other assignments. I mainly come from the manufacturing industry, where I had the privilege of having several different assignments, such as Sales Manager, CEO, distributor manager and production manager.
What attracted you to Åkerstedts?
A well-managed and prosperous company that manufactures a high-quality product and is owned by a group that works long-term, it was something that felt really good. But above all, that there is an ambition in the company to develop further.
What do you bring to the company?
Long experience of working with business development and a wonderful drive to constantly improve. I am passionate about sales and work with long-term relationships. I am good at looking at the whole and making use of all the skills around me, it is together that we are strongest.
Leisure interests?
Leisure time is usually as fully booked as working time, which I enjoy very much. I’m either in a Judo hall or in a stable with my children, in between I try to train myself in the gym and run on the exercise track. Being out at sea or riding a motorbike are also interests, a long walk with our dog Zoe is also every day. Regardless of what I do, I enjoy being with family and friends the best.
Curious:
I have competed at the SM in bar dips and kayaked around Tjörn. I have an assignment as a support person, where you act as a “link” between the patient and society.
